How Does The Super Conscious Mind Operate?

September 10, 2010 Leave a comment
The super conscious mind draws on three sources.
First, it has access to all the information stored in your subconscious mind – everything you have ever learned or experienced. Moreover, it has the ability to discriminate between what is true and what is false and uses only stored information that is true. In this way, it brings you answers and solutions that are correct and appropriate.
Second, the super conscious mind also has access to knowledge and information from outside and beyond your personal knowledge. The universal mind contains all the intelligence, ideas and knowledge that has ever existed, or that will ever exist. For this reason, it is sometimes called the “collective unconscious” or the “universal mind.”
Third, the subconscious mind also draws on ideas beyond your current experience. Have you ever come up with an idea for a new product or service, only to dismiss it because it was in a field in which you had no experience? Later, you may have been astonished to see a company come up with the same product or service and make a huge success of it. This is not unusual because, due to childhood conditioning, we often tend to ignore our own ideas, assuming they could not be worth very much when they could actually change our very lives.
Can the enormous powers of the super conscious mind be harnessed and directed to better our lives? If so, how?
Your super conscious mind functions on a non-conscious level 24 hours each day, 365 days each year. Whenever you program a goal or a problem into your subconscious mind and then release it, it is transferred to your super conscious mind, which goes to work to manifest the goal or solve the problem, drawing on all of your knowledge and experience as well as all of the intelligence, ideas and knowledge that has ever existed or that will ever exist. All that is demanded of you is, first, to state the goal or problem clearly, second, to relax and have trust and faith in this natural law, and third, to stay the course, never wavering, never doubting, never retreating or quitting. Your super conscious mind will then automatically and continuously solve every problem and offer solutions to every challenge on the way to your goal. It will attract the people and the resources required to achieve your goal.
The Law of Super Conscious Activity is the invisible thread that weaves throughout our Coaching and Mentoring Program. It is because of the critical importance of this principle that we focus so heavily on clarifying your goals – the crucial first step to activating your super conscious mind. If followed faithfully, the following five steps will help you tap into your own super conscious mind and literally guarantee your success in meeting and exceeding your goals:
1. Define your goals clearly, preferably in writing. Practice the 10-goal method, with which you are now familiar, every day, thus driving your goals deep into your subconscious mind.
2. Do your homework. Gather as much relevant information as you can. Read, research, ask questions and actively seek the answer(s) that you need on how to achieve each goal.
3. Diligently review and analyse all of the information you have gathered, seeking the best answer(s).
4. If you still have not been able to come up with the way to reach your goal, consciously turn it over to your super conscious mind. Release it confidently, like letting go of a helium-filled balloon, and let it float away.
5. Actively engage your conscious mind elsewhere, persevering in your quest, and allow your super conscious mind to take over. At the right moment, it will provide you with the ideas, the people and the resources needed to achieve your goal.
All that remains to be done is to stay tuned in to your intuition, for it is from this source that your super conscious mind will speak to you – perhaps at the most unexpected time – and then to act immediately on the answer that is provided to you. Remember, the answer is time-dated. Do not hesitate. Take immediate, bold, decisive action, and stay the course until success is yours.
How will you know when the answer has truly come from you super conscious mind? There are three characteristics of a super conscious solution.
First, when it comes to you, it is 100% complete and is always within your resources and capabilities.
Second, it appears to be a blinding flash of the obvious. It seems so simple and so evident that you often wonder why you hadn’t thought of it before.
Third, a super conscious solution is always accompanied by a burst of joy and energy – a feeling of elation that makes you want to take action immediately.
You do not have to trust Napoleon Hill, who explored the principle of the super conscious mind in THINK AND GROW RICH, or me. Simply put it to the test. Faithfully write your goals each day. Do your homework. Work diligently toward the achievement of your goals. When barriers arise, or challenges surface or apparently unsolvable problems get in your way, calmly and confidently turn them over to your super conscious mind and let them go. You will be richly rewarded with answers and solutions and resources that may astound you.

Law of Super Conscious Activity

One of the most important success secrets is the Law of Super Conscious Activity:
“Any thought, plan, goal or idea – whether positive or negative – held continuously in your conscious mind must be brought into reality by your super conscious mind.”
What is the super conscious mind? How does it operate? Can its enormous powers be harnessed and directed to better our lives? If so, how? This white paper offers a distillation of Ronnie’s answers to these questions.
As I mentioned in my book, The Mentor Club, what is the super conscious Mind?
Essentially, our minds operate at three levels of consciousness.
Our conscious mind identifies, compares and analyses data and then, based on these processes, makes decisions.
Our subconscious mind stores and retrieves information and obeys the commands of the conscious mind.
Our super conscious mind functions outside and beyond both the conscious and subconscious mind, but is accessed through them. Also known as the “infinite intelligence,” and “supra-conscious mind,” the super conscious mind serves at least three functions.
First, it is the source of all pure creativity. All truly classical art, music and literature flow from the super conscious mind. Ralph Waldo Emerson confessed that his essays seemed to “write themselves.” In describing the essence of Mozart’s brilliant compositions, court composer Salieri said, “He writes the most beautiful music in the world as though he were taking dictation.”
Second, the super conscious mind is the well from which spring new inventions and scientific breakthroughs. Edison regularly tapped into his super conscious mind where he discovered core ideas and principles leading to his hundreds of successful inventions.
Third, the super conscious mind is the true source of all inspiration, all motivation – the excitement you feel when aroused by a new idea or possibility.

Putting Your Business Plan into Action

Finally, take swift and decisive action. Follow your plan. Monitor your progress. Be persistent and, at the same time, be flexible, ever on the lookout for changes in the external environment that require changes in your Strategies and Tactics.

Whenever you find that you or your business are getting bogged down with little progress toward your goals, perform a GOSPA Analysis. Reexamine your Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Plans and Actions. Most importantly, remain forever vigilant. Be on the lookout for unnecessary redundancies and complexities that so often take hold. And when they do, root them out. Your battle cry must be, “Keep it simple!”

Have a wonderful and productive month!

Planning in Business Planning

Once the Goal has been clearly defined, the Objectives established and the Strategy set, build a Plan to implement the Strategy. To this point, the process has been strategic. It now becomes tactical. For example, if your Strategy is to use direct mail to reach your Objectives spelled out above, lay out the tactical steps you will take to carry out this Strategy, such as list selection, copy writing, mailing method and so on. As at every stage of this GOSPA analysis, be specific and precise. Include deadlines and performance accountability, i.e., who will be held accountable for each tactic. Remember, what gets planned gets done.

Strategies Determination – One of the Most Important Business Planning Skills

August 10, 2010 Leave a comment

With Goals and Objectives clearly defined in the most simple, specific terms, you must now determine the Strategy you will adopt to reach the Objectives and thereby attain your Goal. For example, your Goal may be to sell 4,000 units of a particular product at a price of $100 per unit within six months. Your Objectives might be:

Month 1: 50 units sold
Month 2: 150
Month 3: 300
Month 4: 500
Month 5: 1,000
Month 6: 2,000
6-Month Total: 4,000 units sold

The question now becomes, “How will I reach these Objectives?” Will you use direct mail? Email? Will you advertise? If so, what advertising medium will you use? And so on. The best Strategy for you will meet three criteria’s:

(a) First, it will be easy to define, to understand and to execute.
(b) Second, it will be based on the skills and resources most readily available to you.
(c) Third, it will be practical, offering you the best chance of success.

Establishing Objectives for Business Planning

In working toward a goal, you must establish clear Objectives or milestones – predetermined steps that will lead inexorably to the achievement of your goal. In essence, Objectives are like mini-goals and must meet the same SMART standards.

We help you hone your business planning skills at Mentor Club.

Goal Setting – One of the Most Important Business Planning Skills

Clear, precise thinking – the ability to clearly identify the essential, core components of your goal – is the first prerequisite when applying the Principle of Simplification. It is for this reason that the Focal Point Advanced Coaching and Mentoring Program concentrates so heavily on gaining clarity with respect to both personal and business goals. Fuzzy, unclear goals lead to convoluted, inefficient plans. Time spent in gaining clarity before diving into the planning process is like depositing money in the bank. It can save hundreds and even thousands of hours and dollars down the road.

You will remember from an earlier session that a properly stated goal has five characteristics, summarised in the acronym SMART.

(a) Is your goal Specific? Have you stated it in its simplest and most precise terms?
(b) Is your goal Measurable? Is it stated in clear, quantifiable terms, enabling you to benchmark your progress?
(c) Is your goal Aligned with your values?
(d) Is your goal Realistic? Do you believe you can – and will – achieve it?
(e) Is your goal Time bounded? Do you have a deadline for its achievement?

7 Effective Ways to Leverage Yourself

In any endeavor, to produce the best results, efficient leveraging is required.
Here are seven ways to leverage yourself:

1. Other People’s Energy

2. Other People’s Knowledge

3. Other People’s Money

4. Other People’s Successes

5. Other People’s Failures

6. Other People’s Ideas

7. Other People’s Contacts

Other’s Contacts – Ways to Leverage Yourself

July 1, 2010 1 comment

The seventh form of leverage is Other People’s Contacts or Other People’s Credibility. Each person you know knows many other people, many of whom can be helpful to you. Who do you know who could open doors for you or introduce you to the right people? One introduction to one key person can change the entire direction of your life. Becoming skilled in these seven forms of leverage will have an enormously positive impact as you relentlessly work to become more productive. Study them. Learn them. And, most importantly, apply them. Then enjoy the remarkable results in your life and your business.

Other’s Ideas – Ways to Leverage Yourself

A sixth form of leverage is Other People’s Ideas. One good idea is all you need to birth a fortune. The more you read, learn, discuss and experiment, the more likely it is that you will come across an idea that, combined with your own abilities and resources, will make you a great success in your field. Of course, ideas in and of themselves are not all it takes. The world is full of people who will eagerly share with you their “if only” tales. How often have you heard, “I had this great idea but before I could get around to doing something with it, someone else came out with it and made millions. If only I’d done something with it!”? It is the person who acts on an idea who reaps the benefits. If it’s your own original idea, good for you. But some research can open your eyes to a never ending stream of Other People’s Ideas that, when wrapped up in a sound plan and put into action, can form the basis of a highly profitable venture.
